The Shell Jacket arrived today earlier then expected. I layer when out riding on cold days, (today was 30') so I just needed a decent windbreaker. Took it out for a spin and it works and fits great. I take a medium and the size was a true fit. Plenty of zippered pockets. Great quality and definitely hi visibility. Would definitely recommend.
Have you tried to buy a bike jacket lately? Despite the fact that there are hundreds available, finding the right combination of features is not easy. For me, this "Coast Shell Jacket" was the ONLY one that had: front pocket big back pocket loose fitting (as opposed to tight/form fitting) no hood reflective striping long back If you looking for a jacket with those features, this is your only choice. I don't have wear-data to share.
Fits well and bright lime color gives me a sense of security when I ride. Plus, I look like all the other riders!
