Great comfort and value! The G2 Exert shorts are very comfortable with the anple G2 gel padding. The legs were a little short but otherwise an excellent fit. At the 50% discounted price, it was an excellent value!

Great Comfort and Value!

I've only ridden once with the Exert G2 but have found that they are very supportive and comfortable. The gel padding is very effective in protecting the sit bones. The legs are shorter than I expected but not too short. I am 5'9" and 175 lbs and the medium fits snuggly and maybe only slightly tighter than the other shorts I have. I would definitely recommend these short, especially if they are on sale. I was lucky enough to purchase mine at half price, $35, which was a bargain for a quality pair of shorts.

Still one of my all time favorites

I have a pair of G2 shorts from several years back that have held up extremely well and are still going strong, so I recently decided to purchase a new pair. I was very pleased with the material and workmanship. The pad is large but feels extremely comfortable on the bike. This is an excellent commuting or training short.

G2 Expert Shorts

Sometimes I like waistcut shorts for commuting as they are easier to use under casual shorts or pants when it's time for a restroom. These fit well for me, neither too tight or loose. The pad is somewhat thick. It seems to work well although I perfer thin pads as they don't get so hot. The lycra is this as well, beware of getting it near velcro on bags or machine washibg as it won't tolerate the abuse. Good purchase overall. For reference I'm 6'3", about 165 and bought 2 pairs of size medium.

I really like the wide

I really like the wide band at the bottom of the leg. They are effective and comfortable.
